NOTD: Sally Hansen Greige™ Gardens

First of all, I have to say that I think it's hilarious that Sally Hansen put a trademark notice after the word greige in the name of this polish, as if they invented the word to describe a gray beige. Really, Sally? Second, I have to apologize for taking so long to get this polish reviewed — if I had done it in a timely fashion this could have been a Discount Discovery because I got it when Walgreens marked down the entire Complete Salon Manicure line to $1.89 (last fall?) and you could have all taken advantage of the sale price. Greige™ Gardens is still part of their core line but the price is back up to $8–$9, depending on where you find it. Sorry!
Greige™ Gardens, two coats plus topcoat
This is another of the many, many mushroom-taupe-gray-beiges that I love so much. The application was great and it wore well for several days. I tend to use these colors when I know I won't be able to change my polish for a few days and I'll need something neutral so if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, this is definitely a polish to consider!

  1. I like the color too, I probably have a couple similar Zoyas....so I usually can't bring myself to pay for this particular SH line at the drugstore. Great swatch and pic!

    1. I think probably every polish line has at least one color similar to this. I agree that for the full price, Zoya or OPI would be my first choice but for under $2 this was an easy decision.
