Hits- Zeus

**The product featured in this post was provided for an honest review.**

Good morning! Today I have a GORGEOUS linear holo polish to show you. I've always been a fan of holographic polishes and when I discovered HITS I was so excited. HITS polish comes from Brazil so it's a bit hard to come by in the states but Llarowe is an online retailer who makes sure the gorgeous polishes from around the world are available to everyone!

Zeus is a charcoal grey linear holo jelly. HITS bottles are only 6ml (regular mini bottles are 5ml and full sized polishes are 15ml) so it's easy to go through quite a bit of polish in just one mani. Zeus doesn't reach full opacity until 3 coats so I decided to show it to you as three coats on its own (pointer and ring finger) and with one coat over black (middle and pinky).

Three coats alone
One coat over black

Pros- HITS holos have a great jelly formula and an easy to use wide brush.

Cons- I've bought a couple HITS in the past that had wonky brushes that were difficult to use. It seems that problem has been taken care of because it's been awhile since I've seen a bad brush. BUT since the brush is so wide, it picks up a lot of polish out of these little bottles. Use sparingly or make sure to apply over your favorite undies.

Overall- HITS polishes are not Big3free so they smelly quite funky. Sensitive noses beware! As you can see, there is no difference in holo-ness between one and three coats of Zeus so use those undies to save as much of this gorgeous polish as you can.

Where to Buy- HITS polishes are available to purchase online from Llarowe. Like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter to keep up with the next restocks!

  1. This is one of my favorite polishes, I have found the ones I got recently have much better brushes as well. Great swatches.

  2. So pretty. I wonder how this compares to zoya storm.

    1. I would say definitely not dupes. Here is our review of Storm. Zeus has a much finer holographic shimmer whereas Storm has real holo glitter in it. Storm is also true black and full coverage and Zeus is charcoal and still jelly-ish at 3 coats. I would say you need both! xo erin
