China Glaze Hologlam Collection - Part 2

***These polishes were provided to me for an honest review.  All opinions are my own.***

Yesterday Robin showed you Part 1 of the China Glaze Hologlam Collection and today I have Part 2 featuring Astro-Hot and OMG A UFO.  When it comes to holographic nail polishes, I have sort of an unpopular opinion...I don't love that much holo.  I like enough to know it's there in the sun but not so much that you can't see the base color of the polish.  So these polishes are perfect for me.  I used two coats of polish with no base and top coat for these swatches.  I wore OMG A UFO for 3 days with no chipping or tip wear so I would say they wear like iron.  On to the pics!

First up, Astro-Hot is a gorgeous pink with blue undertones and a pretty strong holo.  I really loved this one. All pictures were taken in my light box because it hasn't been sunny in Baltimore for a while.  This would really pop in the sun.

OMG A UFO is a funky shade of olive, mossy green and has a more subtle holo of the two I'm reviewing.  I'm not really a green polish girl but I really enjoyed wearing this and got a lot of compliments.

What do you think?  Do you own any of the China Glaze Holograms?  Do you agree with my feelings about holo polishes??  Probably not but that's ok!

China Glaze polishes can be found at Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply.

  1. I like Astro-Hot but it's not my favorite of the collection. The swatches are really pretty though!

    1. I think Infra-Red and Strap On My Moonboots are my favorites from the collection but we didn't get them for review. I may need to pick them up soon!

  2. I am on the fence with OMG a UFO. I love those type of colors usually but this one isn't really screaming my name.

  3. love the colour of OMG a UFO! the fact that it's got strong staying power is a bonus! most of the nail polishes chip very quick on my nails, the best one i have ever tried is Illamasqua...i guess these are worth a try :) btw, you have perfect bnails :)following you now, love your blog x
