It's finally spring here (although I think I will wait until maybe Memorial Day to put the shovels away, after the snow storms of the past couple of months) so perfect timing to start showing you the Pastel Bunnies Collection. Today I've got two for you, Bunny Boo Boo and Cotton Tail.
BB Couture Bunny Boo Boo
Yup, that's the real name.
Bunny Boo Boo is a beautiful lilac shade with subtle shimmers in the bottle that did not transfer to the nail. It's such a gorgeous color, however, that it really doesn't need them to wow you. Formula and application were without fault!
BB Couture Cotton Tail

Cotton Tail is a neon pale pistachio color, so bright that I almost expected it to glow in the dark. As with many pastels, the formula on this one was a bit streaky and I had problems with bald spots, so some nails needed an extra coat to cover. This also wasn't the best shade for me, giving me major lobster hands, so while it's probably not a color I'd wear again, for those of you who like neon brights, this is a great choice.

Pros: there's something about the BB Couture brushes that make my manicures look extra professional. Seriously, even my non-dominant hand is able to paint my nails and have the polish go where it's supposed to instead of all over my cuticles. I almost have to look for spots to clean up. Yay, BB Couture!

Cons: the formula on Cotton Tail was not up to the standards I've come to expect from BB Couture but I understand that pastel cremes can be iffy. No such issues with Bunny Boo Boo, though.

Overall: I continue to be impressed with the of polishes from this family-owned company. All of their polishes are vegan, cruelty free and free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP.

BB Couture polishes sell for $10.95 and can be found on their web site.
