Windestine Part Two

Hello! Anna here. Today I have two more Windestine polishes for you. See Part One here.

Peach Ice is an orangey peach jelly with snowy white hexes in two different sizes. I used 2 coats of Peach Jelly with 1 coat of HK Girl Topcoat over it. I had no problems with glitter placement on the nail.

Coraline is a pink coral jelly base with two shades of pink matte glitter and white squares. A lot of the glitter was stuck to the sides of the bottle and I had to use a toothpick for stirring. This could be the fault of the mini bottle though. The formula of this polish is a little on the thick side which ended up causing a little pulling with the second coat. I used 3 coats for the swatches below with HK Girl Topcoat.

Pros – If you love jelly polishes with glitter these two are perfect for you. I love the soft subtle look these have.

Cons – I was disappointed to have to stir Coraline to get the glitters out and I still wasn’t able to get any white squares on the nail. Maybe if you get a full-sized bottle you’ll have better luck than I did.

Overall – I think these squishy jelly colors are perfect for spring. I’m ready for bright colors and flowers to be everywhere!

You can purchase Windestine on etsy and Big Cartel. Keep up with new collections by liking them on Facebook and following on Twitter. Stay tuned for Part 2!
