Lush Lacquer Dream On

Lush Lacquer is a mother/daughter team selling custom-blended polishes on etsy. They describe Dream On as "a creamy white base polish with neon blue, green and purple glitters scattered throughout" and the effect is really so cheerful. The glitters range from large hexes to medium squares to tiny dots and it's like an explosion of confetti on your nails! I wanted to see if there was any difference if I used a white underwear so on all my nails except my ring finger I first put on a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with two coats of Dream On. My ring finger has three coats of Dream On alone. If you look really, really closely the nails with the white underwear make the glitters pop just the tiniest bit more, but you get the jelly sandwich effect much better using it alone. One coat of Dream On over white gives a very delicate look, too, so you have lots of options here.

This was sitting in my mailbox all day in 20F weather, so I'm not sure if that affected the glitters clinging to the bottle. I stirred it with a toothpick after it had been inside a couple of days so that helped mix it up, although you can see a lot still clustered along the edge. Never fear! This polish is packed with so much glitter than there was no shortage on my nails at all! It was a perfect distribution of colors and sizes and I had no problem with placement.

Pros: I like the options of either layering it over a white base or using it on its own, as well as the different looks you get by how many coats you choose to do. There is so much glitter that it looks gorgeous no matter what and it was surprisingly easy to take off. No foil needed!

Cons: I can't really think of any! Both application and removal were easy and it looked great on.

Overall: I enjoyed wearing this so much I want to check out their other polishes. They have a lot of fun color and glitter combinations!

Lush Lacquer polishes can be found on their etsy shop and at Llarowe. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with new releases!
