Zoya - Jacqueline & Gei Gei

Happy Saturday!  Today I have two polishes from the Zoya Lovely Spring 2013 Collection, Jacqueline and Gie Gie.

Jacqueline is described as:  Zoya Nail Polish in Jacqueline can be best described as a full-coverage, perfect magnolia nude cream. This light creamy beige has slight warm undertones and a glossy creme finish. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Peter Som.  I've seen this polish on many hands now and I've seen it pull yellow on some people and more of a magnolia white on others.  It definitely pulled yellow on me...which I don't love.  It's just not right with my pink hands.  I did love the formula though.  It was slightly thick but manageable and covered in two easy coats.

Next up is Gei Gei which is described as:  Zoya Nail Polish in GeiGei can be best described as a full-coverage, blushing cherry blossom pink metallic. A shimmery light shade for an always-appropriate natural pink nail look. Originally created as a custom runway shade for fashion designer Zang Toi.  I need to point out the strange spelling mistake.  The bottom of my bottle says Gie Gie but Zoya's website says Gei Gei.  So I'm going with the website for this post.  Hopefully it's the most up to date.  So, I agree with the description of this polish and I really like it.  The shimmer is white, pink and blue in a pretty pink base.  I used two coats for the swatches below.

Sweet shimmer

Spelling mistake?  Who knows?
So, Gei Gei felt a little familiar to me so I went digging in my stash and found my bottle of OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! and did a comparison and I declare them DUPES! Gei Gei has a much nicer formula, more self leveling and you would probably need three coats of Pedal Faster for complete streak-less coverage.  I did two for the comparison pics.

Stay tuned for the final two polishes from the Lovely Collection!  Anna has them coming up soon.
