SinfulColors Seaweed

I have been on such a green kick lately, for some reason — maybe hoping it will hurry Spring along so we can get out of this cold, colorless winter? Even though I've use Seaweed in a comparison before I haven't done a full mani with it, so it was well overdue.
SinfulColors Seaweed
Seaweed came out in the summer of 2011 as part of the Adventure Island collection which, as we all know, was a dupe of... an homage to OPI's Pirates of the Caribbean collection, with Seaweed being a twin to Stranger Tides. It's a lovely, dusty, pale yellow-green that surprisingly doesn't give me zombie hands. It's a fresh, spring-y green and I love how it looks on me. It's not part of the core line but SinfulColors is constantly recycling colors in different collections so it will probably turn up again sooner or later — maybe in a St. Patrick's Day release of greens? We can hope...

I don't know why, but this color makes me want to wear it to a wedding. Maybe because it was the color of so many bridesmaids gowns I've worn?

  1. Love this color! I always am drawn to anything with that dusty quality to it.

    1. Me, too. Dusty colors always look good on me for some reason. Maybe I'm old and dusty myself...

  2. Seaweed has been on my wishlist for months! I scoured every Walgreens I could get to, but never found it. *sigh*
It's prettier than Stranger Tides, and Beau Khaki just doesn't do it for me! :)

    1. I don't have it myself, but Seaweed has been compared to Essie Da Bush and it looks to be a dupe, so you could try that. I'm pretty sure it's still available.
