SinfulColors Star Fish

At the Bed, Bath and Beyond with the awesome array of nail polishes I recently got Verbena, Adventure Island, and Star Fish from SinfulColor's Adventure Island collection last summer. I've been on a hunt for more pinks lately and this one was showing up on a lot of old blog posts. Don't you just hate it when you pass up on a color from a collection only to develop a craving for it long after it's no longer available? Good thing this store seems to keep every polish until it eventually sells!

SinfulColors Star Fish
As I put it on I thought it was a close match to Zoya Mia, but it's really much brighter, nearly a bubble gum pink without being quite so neon. I think it will be a great base for stamping!

Star Fish, not Starfish
And just because I like it so much, here's another shot.

Why, yes! I have found a new cuticle treatment!
You may also have noticed how very nice my cuticles look here, too. That's because I've discovered Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. This stuff is amazing! I just rub it in on each nail before I go to bed and wake up with awesomely smooth cuticles! And it smells so fresh and lemony, too. I highly recommend it.

  1. This polish may stain the crap out of your nails. Just letting you know. I dunno if it just happened to me but my nails turned a really bad mixture of pink and yellow. But it's such a gorgeous color. :( Shame.

    1. I had no staining at all! Did you use a base coat?

    2. I had awful staining with this one as well, even with basecoat! I was so surprised because usually this is not what comes to mind when I think of a stain-prone color. It's still so beautiful. I'll wear it again, but next time I will double up on the base! :)

    3. Yeah! I agree, I can understand with a blue polish, red polish, green. But it's pink. A gorgeous pink, nonetheless, but still a pink. I've been so hesitant with wearing it now but I'm sure I'll eventually get the nerve to pull it out again.

    4. I'm surprised! I had no staining at all and would never suspect it of a color like this. I guess I got a good bottle!
