Sation I'm Not A Cougar

Another great glitter polish from Sation and another dilemma about which color to layer it over. I really wanted to put it over Spoiled Cougar Attack because of the names but the colors were too similar and the glitter barely showed. Then I thought maybe a bright yellow, but it didn't show off the glitter to its best advantage. So in the end I decided to put it over white so you could see all the green, silver and gold hexes, the tiny copper glitters, and the random holo bar glitter. This polish is shot out of a confetti cannon!
Sation I'm Not A Cougar
As I've said before, I'm not the best at applying glitters but this one didn't really need a lot of extra attention. The tiny copper glitters fill in nicely so that the placement of the larger hexes doesn't seem as crucial. Just brush it on and you know it's going to look good!
The bottle shows how dense this glitter really is!
I think that if you layered this over black it would be very Halloween-y but since it's nearly Thanksgiving it definitely says "fall" to me.

So what do you think? What other colors would you like to see this layered over?

To keep up with the new Sation collections online you can Like them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, or purchase directly from their website or Transdesign. They are also now available at some Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Winners (Canada) stores.

  1. Looks great over white! I posted it layered over black on my blog. For me, 2012 has been the year of Sation! I love their brushes & they've really come out with lots of gorgeous colors.

    1. As I was writing it up I realized that I should have done a black accent nail but I didn't feel like redoing it. I agree about Sation — they've come up with some wonderful polishes this year!

  2. Beautiful! So fine! I really love it. I have a question for you, how do you get your name to your photos? Do you use a picture editing program or? Curious....:-)

    1. Ann-Sofie, I use Photoshop myself but I'm not sure what Anna and Erin use. I'm sure if you Googled "watermark photos" you'd find several options to choose from!
