Born Pretty Stamping Polish

Today I have some stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store to show you. I've had these polishes for about a month now and it gave me the chance to really play with them and see what they can do. I had never tried polishes meant for stamping. Stamping works best when you are using a thick, pigmented, one-coat polish so I typically just use the polishes in my collection that fit the bill. Born Pretty Store offers this set of yellow, red, blue, white, and black stamping polishes for less then $7. Some other brands of stamping polishes sell each color for $7!

Here's a look at each polish in all its thick, pigmented glory.

First thing I did was try to compare the black polish with my favorite black polish to use for stamping, Sinful Colors Black on Black. It's my favorite one-coat black and my go-to for stamping. Let's see how it compares to the Born Pretty black.

Cheeky plate CH48

I think we have a winner! The Born Pretty black is clearly thicker and without any smudges. The base manicure for this experiment was a test for possible wedding nails. You can see it on its own on our Facebook page!

Here are how the other colors show up over black and white. The base here is Milani White on the Spot and Sinful Black on Black

Can I point out how awesomely I lined up this black and white stamp??

Pros- These polishes definitely all show up great over light colors.
Cons- The brighter colors don't show as well over black.
Overall- I never really thought having special stamping polishes mattered but this set definitely proved me wrong!

  1. Great review! I've never used polishes special for stamping either, but this set may be worth picking up!
