Pomegranate Lacquers - Autumnesque and Curator

Hi!  Today I have a two polishes from Pomegranate Lacquers Fall 2012 Collection, Autumnesque and Curator.  Pomegranate is a new to me brand and I was really impressed with the quality of the polish.  The Fall 2012 collection consists of "seven exclusive shades reflect the colors and feelings of autumn, fashion, and the arts."  I think this is an accurate description of this collection.  It's very cohesive and all the colors scream fall to me.

Autumnesque is described as:  A copper polish with golden shimmer that reflects russet leaves, apple cider, and all that is best about fall.  This description is on point.  The formula on this polish was just lovely.  It reminded me of Rescue Beauty Lounge's butter like formula.  The gold shimmer was very prominent!  Looking at these pictures makes me want to wear this color again.  I used two coats for these swatches with a base coat of China Glaze Strong Adhesion and a top of Out The Door.

Next up, Curator:  fashionable night out captured in a bottle—this luxurious black polish is packed with gold and silver glitter.  This was the stand out for me.  I've been on a creme and shimmer kick lately because I just over glittered myself.  But I wore this polish to work and got so many compliments on it.  When I swatched it on a stick, I felt like I would 2.5 coats to make it completely opaque and I didn't want it to be too thick so I layered this over a black creme.  I LOVE the way it turned out.  Classy glitter!  I like it.

Pros:  Great formula, quick drying time, love the bottle shaped and the logo
Cons:  None to note!
Overall:  Pomegranate is a great brand.  I can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Pomegranate Lacquers are available here and retail for $9 a bottle.  Check them out on Facebook too!
