Parlez-Vous OPI

Erin's review of Sation BYOBottle reminded me of one of the OPI polishes I got in my haul when I visited the family. I briefly showed Parlez-Vous OPI in my haul post in a cell phone pic of a dotted mani but it's so beautiful I wanted to show it on its own.
Parlez-Vous OPI
Parlez-Vous OPI is an ashy lavender color that's grayed out enough to qualify as a neutral and I think it's totally business appropriate. It was part of their 2008 France collection, of which I now have at least half, some of which are pretty similar to their recent Germany collection, so I plan to do comparisons between Tickle My France-y & My Very First Knockwurst, and Eiffel For This Color & Oktoberfest (they're close, but different enough for me to need all of them — of course.) But Parlez-Vous OPI seems to be unique, at least among the OPIs that I have (and I have many...)

Seeing how much I love this one makes me want to swatch up the rest of the polishes I have from this collection, but I have so much work to do instead! Don't you hate when life gets in the way of the fun stuff?

  1. this grayed out lavender color is EXACTLY what I have been looking for this fall. Do you have any idea where you can still find it? Or...are are there any dupes?

    1. I got it at the store I that Anna & Erin brought me to when I visited, but I've seen it on Amazon as well. It wouldn't hurt to periodically check the clearance shelves at Ulta, too, because that's where I found most of the Texas collection earlier this summer.

As far as dupes, nothing comes to mind at the moment but I will update if I find any.

  2. I second the request for dupes since this is a discontinued colour. Thanks ;)

    1. I didn't buy it to try, but in the bottle Ulta Lavendaring looks to be pretty close!
