Zoya Kendal

I'm really embracing pastels this summer and to take a break from the brighter ones I've been wearing lately I decided to try out Zoya Kendal, which I found on the clearance shelf recently at Ulta. (They had loads of polishes on the shelf, so I wonder what they're clearing out room for???) I only bought Kristen for some reason when the Feel collection first came out but now I want them all!!!
There was a huge sticker on the front that I couldn't get off, but the bottle shape is distinctive.
I love Zoya's creme polishes the most, even though I am also fond of some of their others with glassy particles, such as Skylar, just not quite as much. Kendal isn't a gray, but it isn't a lavender either — a gravender? There's something about the colors in this collection that reminds me of the milky quality of Martha Stewart paints, so they make me feel all Hampton-y when I wear them. I really need to class up my summer wardrobe to live up to my nails! I need some crisp linen shirts and capris, with some dainty sandals to go with them. And a pedicure. And a trendy haircut. And big sunglasses...
Label shot.
I am now on a quest to get the rest of the colors from this collection. I must not have seen their summer potential last winter, when I was so enthralled with deep jewel-like colors! I went back to Ulta and found Megan and Avery, so now I need to track down Carey; I don't think Kennedy is quite the right tone for me so I won't obsess about finding that one. I just don't see these as winter colors!
