Zoya Fall 2012- Diva Collection

Lately you've seen us show you swatches of the new Fall collections (Gloss and Designer) brought to you by Zoya. I'm going to finish up and show you the Diva collection today. This is the metallic collection. They are almost shimmer versions of their Designer cousins but a couple of them are definitely pumped up a notch. Ok, let's go! All of the swatches below were taken under my OTT light (with no top coat. Zoya is the queen of shiny nail polish and I LOVE IT!

Elisa- Bright, shining medium crimson red with subtle gold shimmer and a glowing metallic finish. Elisa is definitely a blue toned red but the gold shimmer makes it lean towards orange almost. It's very interesting and super flattering. I love a good red polish and the extra shimmer in Elisa makes it a little special. Two easy coats with Zoya's amazing formula. Elisa probably could have been a one-coater if I was careful and cleanup was a breeze. That's a HUGE bonus for any red.

Suri- Medium blue-toned purple with delicate red and blue shimmer and a smooth metallic finish. Suri has these tiny blue and pink shimmers in it that make this purple so interesting. I could stare at it all day. My coworkers definitely think I stare at my nails enough as it is. The bottom two pictures were taken by the window so I could capture the shimmer particles. Click to zoom in! Another two easy coats.

SongBold, vibrant medium primary blue with silver and blue glittery metallic sparkle.  I almost got away with one coat of Song. So pigmented, so rich, so BLUE. The shimmer particles in Song are a little larger so it ups the drama on your nails. I love this king of bright true blue. It's so eye-catching and I got a lot of complements on this mani. I think it's a little bright for Fall but who cares? I'll rock it any time of year.

RayDark blackened pine green with smooth, delicate silver and green frost shimmer. Now here's a nearly perfect dark hunter green. The shimmer is subtle enough that I didn't have any problems with brush strokes showing. Another two easy coats for Ray. It matched my car almost perfectly and you all know how much I love my car. Since I already have two colors that match my British Racing Green MINI Cooper, I let Robin have dibs on keeping this lovely at her house. She better take good care of her!

FeiFeiA medium steel blue base with heavy gold, blue and pink iridescent metallic sparkle. A truly unique sparkling iridescent blue that adds a magical look to the nails.  I can't get enough of FeiFei. I've worn this color THREE times since it came in the mail. It fact, it's still on my toes as I type this. FeiFei is a serious shimmer party. I don't know how else to describe it! Three thin coats for the pictures below. I took so many pictures of my nails and I still don't think I captured all of the dimentions. The first two picutres were taken under direct OTT light. This is how FeiFei looks most of the time. The middle two pictures were taken in the shade. You can really see the pink duochrome in this lighting. Hello gorgeous! The last two pictures were taken under diffused OTT light. You can really see the blue tones there. FeiFei is a must. Go buy it right now. Not even kidding. You need it.

Daul- A medium red-toned purple base with heavy purple and gold iridescent metallic sparkle. The shiny gold sparkle makes this shimmering purple polish extra bright and lively. The shiny gold sparkle makes this shimmering purple polish extra bright and lively. Daul has a very purple jelly-like base just loaded with gold glass flecks. So loaded with gold that in most lights the purple looks like a duochrome effect. I love it! I used three thin coats for the pictures below. The first picture is taken under direct OTT light and the second one was taken in the shade to show you how it looks most of the time.

When I first saw Daul, I immediatly thought it was a dupe for OPI- It's My Year! from their Miss Universe collection. Let's have a look.

No dupes here! Daul is much more purple than It's My Year! The amount of gold shimmer is the same in both polishes but the base colors are very different. IMY has a much more berry toned base. Do you need both? Probably not. But they're not the same, they're similar. ;)

Pros- We all know Zoya polishes have an amazing formula and this collection is no different.
Cons- I'm not sure FeiFei and Daul belong in the same collection as the first four. But I'm still happy to have them all around!
Overall- These are amazing Fall colors and I think that everyone can find at least one in this collection that they will completely fall in love with.
