NOTD: SinfulColors Open Seas

SinfulColors Open Seas was one of the polishes I used in comparison with Revlon Mint Gelato but it was far less blue than the others so I thought it deserved a post of its own. It was part of last summer's Adventure Island collection which was, itself, a dupe of (an homage to?) OPI's Pirates of the Caribbean collection, this particular color being a very strong dupe for the ever-popular OPI Mermaid's Tears. I never managed to get a bottle of that one, but after trying Open Seas I can see why it's on everyones "must have" list. (Except mine, of course, because I have this one instead.) The only other colors from this collection that I have are Rise and Shine and Seaweed, because these all came out before my new-found obsession with nail polishes. So much catching up to do!
I do so love these muted green colors!

In case you need the number.
Since I already did a comparison for the bluer-leaning greens, I think I need to do one for these muted gray-greens, too. I will have to gather up Open Seas, OPI Thanks A Windmillion, and a couple others that fall in that range, then report back...

  1. Looks like Cinderella, without the sparkle! :)

    1. Oh, it's nothing like Cinderella at all! Cinderella is a pale blue and this is a mid-tone green.

  2. Ooh I have to get a shade like this!
