NOTD: Sally Hansen Parrot

Remember my green ombré from last month? I mentioned that I had done a full mani using Sally Hansen Parrot, so here it is!
Such a creamy green!
I do love the formula for the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line, but I find their brush less appealing — the stem is wide and flat and nearly the same width as the bottle neck opening, so it's difficult to clean the excess off the brush without making a mess. But some colors are worth it and Parrot is one of those colors. It's a bit brighter than it appears in the photo, but I wouldn't say it's actually as bright as a parrot; it's more like a new green plant bud kind of green. Very summery.

Other than the awkward brush, the application was a dream and you can probably get by with a single coat if you're in a hurry. This color is part of this summer's Limited Edition Designer Colors and I picked this up at Target, where the beige Honey Whip shade was a dollar more for some reason...
