OPI - I Vant To Be A Lone Star and Crown Me Already

This is the truest color shot I could get.
Happy Father's Day!!  Hopefully you are all enjoying the day with your families.  Here in Baltimore, it's all about the Star Spangled Sailabration and Pride Weekend.  There's so much going on in the city.  It's a fun time to be from Bmore, hon.  Look out for a Pride post from Anna this week that is going to knock your freakin' socks off.  No joke.

Anyway, I'm slowly working my way through my stash and trying to use all my polishes at least once in some capacity.  I picked up OPI I Vant to Be A-Lone Star during one of me and Anna's wholesale polish hauls.  This is NOT an Erin color.  I'm not sure what drew me to the frosty, pale blue from OPI's Texas Collection but I like it.

Being the Queen of the Accent Nail I decided that even though I've used OPI Crown Me Already many, many times, I needed to add it.  It's just the perfect silver glitter.  It's a B to get off but it's worth it.  My pictures show A-Lone Star more silver than blue but I swear it's more of a frosty, pale blue on the nail.

Surprise thumb accent!

Pros:  OPI's perfect formula showed no brush stroke in this super frosty polish.  Crown Me Already is the perfect glitter polish (for me).
Cons:  I had some major chipping the next day.  I'm not sure if it was my base and top coat combo or this polish
Overall:  I'm glad I tried this polish but I don't see myself reaching for it often.  It's too frosty and chipping within 24 hours sucks.
