Essie Mojito Madness

The most perfect green EVAH!
What can I say, other than that Mojito Madness is probably the bestest green nail polish in the history of green nail polishes? It's bright, but not too bright; it's green, but not so blue or so yellow that it's unflattering — sort of like how turquoise is supposed to be the most flattering blue for the widest number of complexions, this is that shade of green. Even though orange appears to be the shade everyone is promoting for the summer of 2012, I pronounce Mojito Madness to be The Official Color of Summer! Seriously, you all need to go get this while you can because you will be kicking yourself if you miss out on it.

Of the three shades I got from this collection, Mojito Madness had the best formula; opaque in two easy coats, minimal cleanup (if any) and no bubbles, bald spots, or pulling. Absolute perfection.

I'm finding that I have so many new favorites that I want to wear over and over, but I can't if I'm going to have new ones to sample for you all, Dear Readers. I hope you appreciate my sacrifice...

  1. ugh I'm kicking myself now! I got 2 free Essie's at CVS a couple weeks ago. I was going to get this one, but Mezmerise grabbed my attention and I went with that instead.

    1. Mezmerise is still a good color, though — enjoy it! (And I think you can still get Mojito Madness for a while yet, just maybe not for free.)

    2. Oh, I'm loving Mezmerise! No regrets whatsoever! I'm keeping my eye open for this one now. I was just at Target and I didn't see it there. My daughter has been bugging me to go to CVS to get new nail polish so I might be checking there. lol Thank you for doing this post, other wise I wouldn't have thought twice about skipping it. lol

    1. Don't wait too long! I think it's a LE polish, but I hope they add it to their core collection.
