Color Club Fashion Addict

I have been seeing so many Color Club polishes online that I just had to have, yet I never saw them in any of the stores I frequented, so I Googled it and found that there was a Bed, Bath & Beyond about 30 miles from me that carried the line. I had a reason to be up in that area not too long ago, so I allowed extra time to stop in to see what they had. O-o-o-o-h, m-y-y-y-y-y-y. I suppose it's a good thing this is not the Bed, Bath & Beyond that's closer to where I live. It's safe to assume that I left with more than a few bottles.
And this is not counting all of the shelves of polish behind me!
I managed to snag the last two bottles of Fashion Addict (one for me, one for Anna) as well as one of Revvvolution and Love 'em/Leave 'em and several Sinful Colors that had been on my wish list for a while. I will have to find more reasons to head up that way. Or maybe I shouldn't...
Again, chasing the sun across the yard to catch the rainbows. What my neighbors must think.
I don't know what it is about holos that fascinate me so, but I just can't get enough of them! It's a shame I spend most of my time indoors because they are wasted away from the sunshine. As far as holos go, this one was not as rainbow-y as the Layla Hologram Effects, but then it's also a third of the price so I shouldn't be too picky about it. Perhaps it's due to the holographic particles (or the lack of them) but the application on Fashion Addict was easier than it was with Mercury Twilight. Two coats and I was good to go.

Alas, as fascinated as I am by holos, I still grew bored with my nails in a day or so, but before I took it all off I thought I'd try sponging on a gradient, using Color Club Wild At Heart on the tips.
Gradient with Wild At Heart.
I think I finally got the hang of it by the time I got to my pinky finger and my cleanup was woefully poor (see how sparkly my fingertips are?), but with practice I see some potential here. What color combinations would you like to see?

  2. Very cool! The BBBs where I love have NOTHING in the way of polish. They don't even have much in the way of bath stuff, so how lucky are you to have stumbled on this great find! I love the CC holos. They are very nice for the price! Nice gradient!

    1. I'm not sure, but I suspect that my jaw dropped as I turned the corner there.
