Blue Monday: a ENGLAND Tristam!

It's here! Tristam is here! I had an email alert set for when Ninja Polish restocked on Tristam and, fortunately, I was on my computer when the email arrived one night. I immediately logged in and ordered my bottle! (I'm so glad I did because it is once again out of stock.) It arrived last week!
Is this not beautiful? Even indoors, it captivates.
Tristam is the beautiful blue fraternal twin of Lady of the Lake, an equally beautiful purple polish. The application was wonderful, flowing smoothly and covering in two coats with no discernible streaking or bald spots. Even the clean-up was easy, and I usually have a lot of trouble with blues, especially the deep ones. One coat of Seche Vite for some gloss and it was photo time!

Wouldn't you know that it would arrive in the middle of a rainy week, when I hadn't seen the sun for days, so I had to make do with using an Ott light to get my photos. Even so, you can still see the myriad sparkles of color in the deep blue base. So gorgeous!

Then I happened to see what appeared to be a small patch of sunshine outside, so I ran downstairs with my bottle of polish and my camera and chased it around the yard to get some shots that would show the true beauty of this polish. I'm sure my neighbors must think I'm insane.
See the rainbows?
I can understand why Tristam is so sought after, seeing its close resemblance to OPI DS Glamour, one of my rarest dusty finds. While not quite as holographic, it does have the same glittering rainbow of colors when seen in direct sunlight and people at least have the possibility of still getting a bottle.
Label shot. And rainbows!
One of the first things I tried after I'd had this on for a while was to do a sponged gradient using both colors, but I think they were too similar and the effect was too subtle to show up on camera, so you will just have to imagine the splendor of it all. Crowning glory and all...
