St. Patrick's Day Mani

Here's a quick post of my festive mani for the day. I just got a new set of stamping plates and one of them had a clover design so I pretty much had to use it today!

I started out with China Glaze Four Leaf Clover with a Finger Paints Lemon Sour accent nail. Lemon Sour is from Finger Paints new Gumdrops and Lollipops collection. I just picked a few of them up at Sally's for $4.99 each. (I used my birthday coupon so I guess I didn't really pay that much at all)

Four Leaf Clover was opaque in two coats. Lemon Sour would have been, but I was about to attack it with gold and holo glitter so I didn't care :)

My ring finger nail has developed ridges. Make it go away!

Two coats of Milani 3D holographic on the Lemon Sour gave me just the right yellow gold I was looking for in this mani. I topped everything off with a coat of SV and started stamping!

I used butter LONDON British Racing Green for this stamp. I wanted the stamp off to the side since the design had a curve in it. Obviously, I still need to work on my stamping aim but I love the way this all turned out!

Update- Now that the day is done, I filed my too-long nails down and removed this mani. Hello staining! I guess I forgot how these kinds of greens can be. So if you ever end up with Four Leaf Clover on your nails, take extra caution and be sure to have plenty of acetone on hand!
