Sinful Colors "Zeus"

Sinful Colors Zeus
Sinful Colors is rapidly becoming one of my favorite lines — great selection of colors, wonderful formula, easily found at Target, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid, and under $2! What more could you ask? They have a new collection out called LE Castaways, all with Mediterranean inspired names. I've got three of them (so far); Zeus, Vacation Time, and Greek Isles, and I may have to go back for Be Happy and Pandora.

Zeus has everything I love in a polish — it's my favorite (and most flattering) periwinkle/cornflower blue/lavender with gorgeous pink micro shimmers in it. Two coats to opaque, easy to apply, flows smoothly. I applied another coat of Seche Vite tonight to get a few more days out of it (three so far with barely any tip wear, but I was away for the weekend and not on a computer) and I'm noticing that it seemed to diminish the pink shimmers somewhat. It still looks lovely, but that extra sparkle only shows up in strong lighting. One coat of top coat was fine, but two may be too much.

See the lovely pink shimmers in the highlights?
I can't wait to try out Vacation Time next because it's one of those dusty roses I love so much. I will nurse this mani along for a couple more days, then change over to Vacation Time for a business meeting later this week (how ironic is that?) Then I might try Greek Isles for a St. Patrick's Day green but I have other ideas for that so maybe not.

  1. Robin, this is gorgeous! I'm definitely heading to CVS tomorrow to see if they have it.

    1. Anna, I've never seen Sinful Colors at any CVS, only Target, Walgreen, and Rite-Aid, and only Walgreen seems to get the new collections — the others just have their regular line. But you should definitely get it!

  2. They have them at walgreens by my house......if u know what colors I could pick them up for you!
