My "Girl On Fire" Mani!

Today I'm going to go see The Hunger Games! Naturally, I wanted to do a "girl on fire" mani like I've been seeing all over the place in the past few weeks. I used The Nail Network's tutorial for my design.




I used China Glaze-Stone Cold as my base. I used a thin paint brush to paint on the fire staring with Essie- Forever Young, then Urban Outfitters red glitter, then China Glaze- Riveting. I added some yellow accents with Sinful Colors Nail Art- Morning Breath striper, and finally dabbed on some China Glaze- Electrify. I knew I would find a reason to wear Electrify!



Forever Young definitely stained my cuticles and was pretty difficult to clean up

  1. I find that a lot of the Essie reds stain and are difficult to clean off the cuticle. I'm tempted to mask them off by brushing on some oil first to see if it helps.
